HAYDEN PORTER

I am a business profile photographer, which fundamentally means I work with companies looking to promote themselves visually through photography and videography. Whether your business is hospitality, real estate, or anywhere in between I am always happy to hear your ideas and visually communicate them to an intended audience.

My preference towards clean design and structure fuels my love for photography, combined with my technical skills, I love to stage the scenes I photograph in order to capture them in their best light. My eye for design means I am always implementing a natural flowing balance within my photography, whether that be through documenting structure through composite and creative photography or paying extra attention to lighting and fine details.

Wanting to pursue photography as an art form as well as a career, I decided to study photography at Birmingham City Univeristy which taught me valuable skills beyond photography such as how to hone creativity, working with other creatives on projects to achieve larger goals and the value of understanding an audience. My greatest achievement so far is being able to apply these skills to my final major project and curating my own exhibition from scratch bringing twenty artists together to display their artwork within an Edwardian swimming bath transformed into a gallery.
